The shielded fume hood is designed and evaluated according to EN 14175-3 and the ASHRAE 110-1995 standards for safely manipulating radioactive materials in research and medical applications. This unit has an optional stationary frontal lead barrier (incl. air intakes) with an additional moveable body shield, including a large lead glass window.

This hood's front sash is equipped with a counterweight for easy positioning. When the sash is raised above 457 mm, it will automatically and gently fall back to the safe level unless locked in place.

The hood is available in several widths and three different shielding thicknesses.
