The Type A package with lead container is designed for the safe transport of high energy gamma (PET) radiopharmaceuticals in vials by road, air, sea and inland waterways. The package is tested and certified according to the requirements of the IAEA Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material TS-R-1.

The flight case with a lead container (30 mm lead shielding) is a multiple-use solution. The flight case is non-disposable, reusable, and closed with butterfly latches for easy lifting and a tamper-proof seal, it also has space for the transport documentation. The flight case is also available with the tungsten container, click here for more information.
