Update on Von Gahlen's LFS Family - renewed dispensers OVDD-CAN & CVDD-CAN
At Von Gahlen, we would like to share an update on the enhancements in our dispenser lineup, specifically comparing the current OVDD-SA & CVDD-SA models with the newly developed OVDD-CAN & CVDD-CAN models. The latest innovations reflect our ongoing commitment to advancing safety, usability, and regulatory compliance in radiopharmaceutical solutions.
Key Design and Safety Upgrades
The CAN dispenser family incorporates significant advancements, especially in terms of stability and durability in high radiation fields. In the new hardware design, we have removed as many sensitive electronics as possible from the direct radiation fields. This fundamental redesign has reduced complexity and increased reliability. Additionally, the unit has integrated tungsten shielding, providing enhanced radiation resistance to ensure safer operation.
Changes in Connectivity
This upgrade is complemented by the option to support the Mirion-Capintec SMART chamber, which can replace the Nuvia MED chamber, offering greater flexibility in system configurations.
Streamlined Operations with Enhanced Software
The overall workflow remains user-friendly and familiar. Users can select recipes, create pending batches, and initiate runs with a straightforward process. However, the new dispenser's software introduces an audit trail feature, a pivotal improvement that tracks and records all system activities. Developed and validated according to GAMP standards, this feature complies with Eudralex V4 Annex 11 and 21 CFR Part 11, ensuring comprehensive transparency and facilitating regulatory compliance.
